The Proactive Mental Health Programs for the Workplace Workshop will be taking place in Brisbane and Livestreamed. The interactive one-day workshop will highlight programs from Black Dog Institute, Mindarma, Movement and Mental Health in the Workplace and the ASIST Suicide Prevention Program. Attendees will be able to take the next steps to choose what proactive programs best suits the needs of your organisation's workforce and mental health strategy

This session will provide an overview of the framework to creating mentally healthy workplaces. The role of evidence-based proactive programs will be discussed as well as the importance of measurement and auditing when developing a workplace mental health strategy.

This interactive session will highlight the benefits of the Black Dog Institute's Mental Health for Managers program. Learn simple strategies to enable meaningful conversations about mental health with your colleagues and team.

Program 2: Mindarma
Customising holistic online resilience training for your workplace

This interactive session will highlight the Mindarma Program of customised and successfully implemented resilience training programs for different workplaces. The session will cover key factors in developing a successful implementation, including identifying high-risk groups, program customisation, promotional strategies, learner engagement, outcome measurements and case studies. This session will support you in running a "small trial" of the Mindarma program in your own workplace.

In this session, Scienta Associate Professor Simon Rosenbaum will share his expert insights and tips on creating effective exercise-based interventions for mental health.
