Description

Land Titles Office Practice NSW is a unique reference to the practice of the New South Wales Registrar-General in administering the Real Property Act, the Conveyancing Act, the Strata Schemes legislation and the Community Titles legislation.
The service provides practitioners with legislation relevant to dealings with real property in New South Wales along with commentary and case notes. The format of this service is designed to save practitioners time by bringing together various useful references in the same publication and by providing links to PDF versions of key forms.
The service also includes the "Registrar-General’s Dealing Forms". The Registrar-General requires these forms to be lodged in order to achieve registration of the transaction or application contained in the form. Sample dealing forms are included in the service for practitioner reference.
A subscription also provides access to the Land Titles (Australia) Reports series, a unique series of specially headnoted decisions from the High Court, Federal Court, State Supreme Courts and the South Australian District Court, focusing on cases which specifically address land titles issues, as well as Noteworthy Cases, a selection of landmark cases selected by the author accompanied by author notes on the pertinent points of the case and its relevance today.
Greg Stilianou, Senior Lawyer at Land and Property Information, Department of Finance, Services and Innovation, is the current contributing author of the service. It was formerly written by Frank Ticehurst, who has over 30 years experience working for the Land Titles Office.
