First industry awards recognise professional excellence in tax and accounting in Australia

SYDNEY: November 1, 2013

Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, celebrated the winners of Thomson Reuters inaugural Tax and Accounting Excellence Awards at a gala dinner last night in Sydney.

The first of its kind in Australia, the awards recognised excellence across firms and individuals in the expertise of tax and accounting. With strong nominees over the range of categories, winners were chosen across six awards.

The winner of the Tax Team of the year award, Suncorp accepted their award last night, ‘We have worked hard, and have a great team. The inaugural awards were hosted on the evening following the Annual SYNERGY Conference on October 31, 2013 at Sheraton on the Park, Sydney.
