Appealing to the Future: Michael Kirby and His Legacy

Saturday, 5 February 2009, Sydney, Australia, Thomson Reuters Book Launch - To coincide with Justice Michael Kirby’s recent retirement from the High Court, we have launched Appealing to the Future: Michael Kirby and His Legacy, a collection of essays penned by more than 40 eminent legal practitioners and academics, celebrating Kirby’s achievements and contributions to the Australian legal system.

On February 5th 2009, the book was officially launched by Sir Anthony Mason with over 80 people in attendance at the NSW State Library. The event contributed to a week of celebrations for the Honourable Michael Kirby.
